Not me opening FR to find out that some user has DMed me, asking if I'd possibly be willing to sell one of my dragons.

A dragon that is on my "most precious dragons" page.

A level 25 unbred eleven year old 7-digit XYX imperial dragon who is bonding with a SKYCAT familiar.

A dragon I've commissioned TWO separate art pieces for.

I. I am being SO good and not replying to this person at ALL. What in the AUDACITY.

two separate art pieces is crazy, that really isn't a lot, anyway, just tell them no straight up, people are so petty for no reason about people asking about dragons.

kinda wild that u willingly put all this dragon info here when it's incredibly searchable. the art is cute tho

There's 658 different XYX Imperial 11 yr old 7 digits that are level 25, how did you find it?

i would have given up if it took more than 30 secondss to find but its on the second page of results and i only looked at the fed dragons so it was like less than a dozen dragons lol. plus anons attitude annoyed me and i dont want to deal with them onsite, personally

christ, the dragon is so BORING. makes me wonder if Herongale is lying about someone asking to buy that bland heap of mediocrity so they could have a fake tantrum over it for attention

was thinking the same thing, especially since there's nothing in the bio to assume that the dragon has extreme sentimental value??? It's only two pieces of art and a reference to an obscure anime.

I have dragons that have been asked about, so I put "Please don't ask to buy them/their accent, they're not for sale" and.... I don't get asked about them anymore.

could be they want them for the hatchdate? otherwise... yeah idfk. maybe the buyer used dragon search and made offers on all the active ice/sky/ice but left the default sort to lowest ID so they offered on this one. cuz otherwise... there are 176 ice/sky/ice imps and idk why they'd offer on an oldie unless they want an oldie or a hatchdate.

It's a XYX 7-digit unbred Imperial, that makes it a lot more valuable. Unbred 7-digit Imps go for A LOT right now. The oldie/low digit market is pretty wild, I'm not surprised that OP received offers for it. I get random offers for my 5/6/7-digits all the time.

they're not in the wrong unless you've got a "NFS" somewhere in the tab or on the dragon. literally just say no.

precious =/= NFS, just a much higher price, probably too high for most buyers to bother with, but a very motivated buyer might offer a high enough amount. the age, level, and art just means a higher buy price. idk why the familiar matters??

I'm sure they just meant that if the inquirer saw the kickstarter fam on the dragon, wouldn't they assume the dragon was important to have such an expensive item? Either way I think it's fair to assume you wouldn't get inquiries on a dragon you've marked as precious. I for one think it's kind of exhausting and redundant to have to label all my permas as NFS

they could label the tab, like i mentioned, not necessarily every dragon. "precious" just means $$$$$ and probably won't sell, imo. but it's worth a shot if you're highly motivated. again, imo. i didn't know the value of a skycat for years, so i don't think that's a guaranteed signal of a dragon being special, also it could just be bc the colors match or some shit. idk. i don't think it's that audacious unless they lowballed.

AYRT Yeah and I'm saying all that is tedious when most people have tabs that are for offers/sales, the rest are usually permas or maybe fodder pairs etc. Ofc I know not everyone knows the value of the skycat but I was just explaining why OP mentioned it because you said you didn't know why it mattered.

And "My oldest/most precious dragons" as a description on a generic "Main" tab does not mean never for sale. I've bought out of similar tabs before. There is nothing wrong with asking.

could it just be that they're new and/or haven't learned how to tell whether a dragon may or may not be for sale?
