ok if nothing else you can't blame the guy for it being bland
this was the time in the game when the ONLY good genes were iri/shim. your other secondaries at the time were: freckle, stripes, eye spots, shimmer. that's it.
pickings were slim and "making good genes" hadn't really been, uh... figured out yet.
