not going to name any names but i think i've been ghosted for a commission :/
contacted me about wanting to commission me on the 10th, i wrote them a message about payment next day, has been completely radio silent since (dragons are fed, they posted on forums recently). i take full pre-payment before working so i haven't wasted my time which is the only reason i don't want to namedrop them. still kinda shitty to be lead on like that because art is my main source of income and i have bills
I may be stupid but I don’t understand the issue here? You could have PM’ed this person again. Also, feeding dragons and posting on the forums is a very low-energy thing for many users, but replying to private messages might take more energy for them. Or maybe they forgot?
one round of communication (inquiry, response) doesn't seem like ghosting to me tbqh, maybe they just went with someone else and forgot to let you know
i did message them one more time, yesterday. still no response, dragons are fed. i'll try messaging them a third time later but after that it's not working out i think
