I get what you mean. I didn't like Strawberry's attitude in the thread, but I'm with them that I would (also) be personally uncomfortable bidding against someone who I knew was spending real money (and potentially a lot of it)... but I think that's the point where I would just, y'know, bow out and not say anything about it. Neither feeling uncomfortable or spending the money are immoral! It's the behavior / interaction that makes both a bit yeesh.
