I get that same vibe from my own flight ngl 💀 I'm so disinterested in dom in general as a result because I don't want to join yet another discord server for networking that can be easily done on site.
tbf, there is a somewhat active fundraiser operation that I casually throw stuff at, but I don't remember the last time when polls on push-related themes, dates, etc were posted to the forums. Sometimes I got jumpscared by a push I didn't even know was happening until I opened Dom Watch on day 1. :D
Literally the only thing keeping me from jumping ship nowadays is I'm too fond of the desert & tech aesthetics and Lightning eyes compliment the majority of my breeding pairs.
are you on the pinglist for push-related stuff? we got pinged last nov for theme submissions on the next 6 months of pushes, and i get pinged semi-frequently for stuff related to dom. it is a pretty discord-heavy dom scene but you might just not be on the right pinglists cause there def are pings happening for this, and i cant recall any time where votes on push timing+themes happened anywhere other than a google form referenced in a forum post
