Yeah some guys in my discord group did the math and this checks out. Plague is profiting the hell out of their merc orders.

yep, both this week and last week it's been way more profitable to exalt your own fodder (for the chance at a chest) than to send your fodder to plague mercs / earth PB. not sure why anyone would do the latter, unless it's out of extreme risk aversion. or for the badges, i suppose. :P

how good is the mini raffle? i feel like my flight's IF raffles kinda suck most of the time, there is nothing anyone would be ordering mercs for so im just curious.

in general i wish i could see more into other flight's dom scene so I know where would be a good move for me

Which is hilarious, because plague is no longer the powerhouse it used to be. All the main Dom leaders left for Arcane/Earth

... Surely we're talking about different Plague flights. They've been going strong the past few years and I don't see anyone from the team having left the flight

They're still not the powerhouse they used to be, when they regularly won double, even triple dom. Not saying plague is weak now, but they're not nearly as strong as they were 3-4 years ago when Syl was dom lead.

Ngl, I'm in plague since 2017 and haven't seen Syl. It might have been longer than you thought?

A few people left after WvP. Aeronaught joined Earth and is now a dom lead there

meanwhile the water discord chat was hoping that plague would try to flip them and then was sad when they got news it was profit-motivated and not a challenge

Also didn't we just see a bunch of dom stats like a week ago about how much everybody wants more battles and spontaneous pushes? It's notn, people probably got excited and ended up flipping the board and just decided to roll with it. This kind of thing happens all the time and Plague and Water seem to have a pretty good relationship based on that whole "Plague sending 17k dragons to Water's fest raffle" thing. I don't think it's that deep, honestly?

Most Dom teams have a merc team, so they're probably buying from them.

From what I know from friend chatter, at least Light and Shadow, and both were provided with badges. Feels safe too assume they contacted other flight's merc too.
