I think ThistleProse could have worded their responses a lot better, but I can understand the frustration considering 20-60g increments doesn't strike me as unreasonable and jejune didn't give a minimum increase or an example of what they'd consider reasonable. And a higher MI doesn't necessarily mean the bids will come less frequently, which is jejune's justification for the change.

Eh, that's not how I read that part of her comment:

When the auction is over 3000 gems, I can kind of get being annoyed at 20 gem raises. But that's why you spell that rule out in the beginning. Or just say "from here on out, I am only taking bid increments of this." You don't refuse bids for a rule that didn't exist.

It's like a rl auction where the bud is at $32 and the bidder just raised by 20 cents.
