first-time NotN-er here! is there a recommended gathering type/zone during NotN (akin to digging in the celebrating flight's zone during elemental festivals) or is it all the same?

Love the apparel and familiars this year! Especially the little paint guys, they're adorable!

If I can nitpick, wasn't a fan of them adding gem familars to the valentines event, and I'm definitely not a fan of them adding two to this.

these and the valentine's familiar have been my favorite gem familiars in… ever? i had never shelled out for the pricey shapeshifting fams before and i have gotten all three of the ones mentioned now. if the event inspires artists to make stuff that rule this much, i consider it a bonus rather than something i'm getting instead of a hypothetical alternate non-gem familiar.

i absolutely agree that these rock!

they're insanely awesome in theme and execution, and i'm so happy they're doing more of these form-changing familiars that aren't one-time redemption event items. i understand the sadness attributed to them being gem items, but it's not as if they're so expensive that the average active FR user would be priced out of getting them during the most profitable time of the year.

Oh don't get me wrong visually these guys ROCK. Wasn't a fan of the Valentines Cerdae, it looks weirdly flat, but the chess pieces are fucking awesome. I've been playing super casually for a while now and kinda just immediately dump gems when I eventually get enough for a gene I want, so seeing something available for a limited time require gems is just like... *sigh* Okay I GUESS I'll interact with the site's mechanics properly for a week.

Like I said, it was just a nitpick, not really a big deal lol I'm just a lazy old (by fr standards) lady who can't participate in the dragon stock market as much as I could 10 years ago.

I'm glad we have actual dragon mimic familiars again this year! The drinky Wildclaws and poseable Everluxes are adorable

Oh wait, true! I forgot about the umbrellas.
I was thinking spiral on the carriage because of the head / horn shape and the spade tails but maybe I’m stretching it

No I think you're right too, the carriages DO look like a couple of spirals, the back part by the spade tail also looks like a wing. I wonder if we're gonna be seeing multiple dragon mimic fams for each breed now.
