I’ve been watching this thread and definitely had a chuckle when they got renamed.
It’s pretty silly to proudly boast about your rule breaking dragons on the public forums, and then act shocked when you get in trouble for it. Also lol at the Options user acting like staff are being jerks for renaming it/warning the user.
Gonna be honest, I get there’s a novelty in the banned name dragons and some I can see being mostly harmless (still stupid to draw attention to it though), but I feel like it takes a certain kind of person to think it’s funny and cool to own a dragon named ‘Slur’. I doubt staff would have renamed a Kim or Corona dragon, after all.
That is true, good point - but while there may be legitimate uses for Kim or Corona that staff would overlook, I can’t think of too many for Slur beyond someone just being edgy (sure the word can also be like ‘slurring your words’, but I strongly suspect a user into collecting banned names wants it for the less savory meaning.)
