Flex one of your dragons with a banned name, what do you think will happen?

Dragon was a Veil named "Slur" before the name got nuked, but I didn't get a snapshot in time. I don't get how this user thinks this and collecting banned names should be something to be proud of. Let alone making a whole post pointing it out with other idiots posting theirs too. Can't believe people will be this dumb for clout.

I’ve been watching this thread and definitely had a chuckle when they got renamed.

It’s pretty silly to proudly boast about your rule breaking dragons on the public forums, and then act shocked when you get in trouble for it. Also lol at the Options user acting like staff are being jerks for renaming it/warning the user.

Gonna be honest, I get there’s a novelty in the banned name dragons and some I can see being mostly harmless (still stupid to draw attention to it though), but I feel like it takes a certain kind of person to think it’s funny and cool to own a dragon named ‘Slur’. I doubt staff would have renamed a Kim or Corona dragon, after all.

They would if the dragon was disease themed for Corona. Seen it before.

That is true, good point - but while there may be legitimate uses for Kim or Corona that staff would overlook, I can’t think of too many for Slur beyond someone just being edgy (sure the word can also be like ‘slurring your words’, but I strongly suspect a user into collecting banned names wants it for the less savory meaning.)

they have a dragon named LittleBoy.....

They had to have named that one themselves - I’m fairly certain most of that tab was unnamed by staff today along with the Slur dragon. They also have one called ThirteenTwelve (which, not morally as questionable as ‘LittleBoy’ 🤨 but they definitely seem to deliberately trying to be an edgy little shit because they got caught with their banned names). They sound insufferable, hope the account gets locked lol.

I need Options to come back online and provide a defense for OP being an adult white woman who owns a dragon named after a WWII atomic bomb.

I looked it up, but all I found for ThirteenTwelve was 1312, which is "All Cops Are Bastards" and I honestly don't see an issue with that.

Is there another meaning I didn't see?

I have no personal issue with it, but it’s explicitly banned on site (it was mentioned as one of the banned phrases when they did the updated rules not too long ago) - I doubt they named it that for any reason other than to bypass banned words for more attention and clout.

lol this is reminding me of the time i intentionally named my dragon something vaguely inappropriate (bibgboobie) because she came pre-named, but the OC of mine has a 2 letter name, so i just.... paid someone to report my dragon to get the name reset so i could rename her (since the 2 letter bug only worked with dragons that hadnt been named yet)

I literally sent in an ask to SMR about this because wtf were they expecting? They were asking to get in trouble, especially after sharing publicly.

they've got a tab in her lair of dragons dedicated to her wife with dragons named scissors and peggy. probably a bit of a reach on my part tbh, but given her whole propensity for names that push the limits, it feels like that might be a sex thing :/
