An important update:

Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.

This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.

(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)

Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.

(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

This is why I said "You sound like an NFT bro" because they have the same smug, "I am totally smarter than you, so it's beneath me to try to talk to you as if you're a person," type of tone that I've seen from every AI/NFT bro on twitter (who also tend to think Elon Musk is a savant.)

There's a distinct difference between using AI as a tool/for fun, and being a self identified AI Bro who gets pissed about things like Glaze/Nightshade.

for sure, i never disagreed. i was even talking about why the scraping is so widespread (everything on the internet is "in the public") and how it will be difficult to contain

Opinions? They really need to make pinglists usable by people other than the creator in order to replace GASP and Dom organization pinglists if that is their intent, but I'm actually quite relieved that they're working on some kind of on-site option because I've been trying to de-Google my digital life, and basically all of dom organization being off-site on Google products has been an impediment to my ever participating in dom again.

tl;dr:

1) Forum pinglists will now be handled by a in-game system that should be easier to manage and will avoid harassment.

2) Skin and Accent Submission rework is in progress, it will be more automatized and will speed up the process. Once you get a skin approved under the new system, you can resubmit the same skin even faster for future print runs. You will be able to select the preview icon window from any part of the skin.

3) Coliseum PVP is moving along. It's being tested internally, will be beta tested later if all goes well. Parts of this multiplayer functionality will be the basis for other future game mechanics like the fabled Adventure mode and Dragonmeet.

incidentally, why are greens kind of boring in fr? I love the color irl but it's like a blur of nothingness I can barely perceive on the screen, my eyes just slide over it

AITA if I sell dragons to my own flight in a Dom battle if I don’t care about Dom bonuses, and the in flight payouts/raffle are lower than the public buy? I have no interest in raffle prizes so I want to just make cash, but I’d rather support my own flight than the other flight. Otherwise I’d just sell to the opposite flight. WIBTA?

time to treat myself i guess

decide fuck it, treat myself on pixel dragon game
get error message while trying to buy gems after a spree
send support ticket
staff tells me theres a 30 day gem purchase limit and i hit it
put the rest of the money into my savings in shame

simultaneously crying and laughing my ass off

Now that Neopets is re-releasing retired items, could the FR team take a page from their book and re-release the sprites, please???
