i love going through threads where everyone is like ‘flight rising devs are holding me at gunpoint and FORCING me to spend ten of my hard earned dollars on gems for a useless ANCIENT’ and blocking them all. complaining about site features that you literally don’t have to use is obnoxious entitled behavior. you can just get one of the many treasure breeds or wait for the fodder floor on the new release to drop… i’m sure it’s at least part of the same crowd that complain about dragons having no ‘worth’ anymore. too many people want instant gratification/profits in a browser game that has managed ten years based on the integrity of its staff and constant free releases.
Right? It's hardly real-cash paywalled; premium currency is perfectly accessible even if you never spend a cent of your earth money, and Sandsurges will be 20g a pop by the end of the month anyway. The gem: treasure ratio is pretty stable for trading, you get daily gems with a well-fed bonus, gems come out of the chests you get from bonding with familiars, and now we even get gems for achievements. That's much better than the options many other sites have for accessing their premium currency!

Flight Rising didn't give out two free eggs & two free breed changes for this ancient release as a personal slight against ME!" - same type of person who would say on SMR that reporting multiaccounters is like trying to be a cop & that Flight Rising is actually an EVIL CAPITALIST MEGACORPORATION for trying to make money, rather than a small business run by a small staff with an anti-crunch work philosophy still trying to please a highly demanding, terminally online throng of users & also continue to grow their website slowly but surely in a way that no other virtual pet site is currently doing. No crypto, no NFTs, no BS... But nevermind that, gimme gimme gimme all new things for free now so I can get sick of them in a week and proceed to complain that everything sucks nowadays.
