I contacted DW when Ado was doxxed, and this was the reply:
So. Take this seriously. I've already said I will screen any doxxing attempts, but there's only so much I can do on my end. Cover your own ass on your end, because screening comments is where my responsibility ends.
Once a comment is deleted, it's removed from the site entirely and we no longer have access to any information about it. However, even if a comment hasn't been deleted, we have extremely limited information about it, particularly if it was made in a journal or community without IP logging enabled. Most people who leave this sort of comment also use a VPN service, so even if IP logging was enabled at the time a comment was made, sadly there is often very little that anyone (even us) can do to determine who left it.
This sort of thing is, unfortunately, a common issue in anonymous discussion communities, especially those that are dedicated to gossip about others or to documenting the behavior of specific individuals, and it's why those sorts of communities need to be heavily modded with as much coverage as possible to react to comments that violate the Terms of Service and the community rules as quickly as possible. You're already using the reporting system we recommend -- a dedicated thread or post for people to alert you to comments that violate the Terms of Service -- but you may also want to consider having multiple admins who all receive notifications when someone reports a comment and can take action on it. (The way we recommend doing this is adding multiple admins of the community; don't share the password to a single admin account with multiple people.) Adding multiple admins can be a risk, because every admin of a community has equal rights to delete comments, change community settings, delete the community, and/or remove other admins of the community, so you should only add admins you trust to not abuse the control over the community that an admin has; however, having multiple admins who are all able to handle reports of comments that violate the Terms of Service can allow you to make sure that it's more likely someone will be available to handle a violating comment more quickly.
Ultimately, however, running an anonymous discussion community does involve attracting a number of individuals who are inclined to go further in discussing someone's actions than the community rules or the Terms of Service allow, and we are very limited in what we can do to prevent someone from anonymously accessing the site or from leaving anonymous comments in a specific community. The prevalence of VPNs and other forms of connection masking makes it difficult if not impossible to proactively handle people who are not inclined to follow the rules.
If you have ongoing problems with people who are disinclined to follow the rules, we recommend that you enable comment IP logging and leave it enabled, enable the setting that requires all comments to the community to solve a captcha in order to comment, and -- at times of particularly high-volume issues -- enable comment screening for all comments so that you need to review a comment and make it visible before anyone but admins can see it. This won't stop particularly determined bad actors, but it will at least minimize the damage.
So, has anyone reported the links on FR containing PII to FR staff? They nuked a scavenger hunt and raffle for that kind of thing. If it's linked in his profile, surely that's breaking rules.
For what it is worth, it took me about six (6) clicks from your FR profile to some disturbing amounts of your PII first try, blind. I got to it just by looking up your username on FR, I didn't need a direct link to it on a drama site.
when i got doxxed, i found out you can only do something about it if both parties live in a jurisdiction where it's illegal (which at the time was only california).
that said, despite everything, i don't think it's "stupid" for dakkokki to leave their business/professional website up when they're not in control of people linking it in the doc and other places. i would have a harder time finding clients and lose money if i nuked my own website. it doesn't look like dakkokki's website provides a huge source of income but still, i don't see why leaving it up is stupid on their part.
i think the concern isn't that dakkokki has a professional website containing PII, but rather that the website is linked to multiple times on FR. lots of artists on FR use external websites/carrds/etc for hosting TOS and galleries, but these are tailored for online commissions and don't contain doxxable information. having PII be that accessible within a click of FR introduces risk/responsibility to both dakk and FR.
imo it's best if dakkokki (and online artists in general) created one space for anonymous online commissions and another one for professional IRL work.
Yeah, it's pretty stupid to do both of those things when you portfolio has:
1. His legal first and last name 2. His physical fucking address 3. His fucking phone number
And guess what you can find with JUST his name? His Facebook! Where his full DOB is publicly available just like the rest of his page.
This is incredibly dangerous and fucking stupid. In particular when he taunts people to do something about it when told that he should remove that PII.
You want to know what else is stupid about linking your fucking professional resume and portfolio on a FUCKING DRAGON NEOPETS DRAMA BOARD??? That ties aaaallll this drama, lying, transphobia, tracing etc TO HIS PROFESSIONAL CAREER
You.... don't think that people Google future employees? Or freelancers?
If Dakkokki wasn't such a stubborn fucking dumbass, he would have a professional portfolio that is completely disconnected from his online persona. Especially because he can't stop sticking his dumb nose into drama.
Reminder: If you're in FRAD, the man I'm describing literally has your ID! If I could find his Facebook just off his name, think about how easy it would be to find you.
man, people these days just appear not to give a fuck about private info needing to stay private. in a world where someone can get shot and killed for putting a laugh emoji on someone's facebook post (this actually happened)
at my work, we have to clock in with our SSN (urgh but at least its encrypted) and one of my coworkers (aged 17) asked me to clock out for her and immediately started spouting her social security number i actually covered my ears like a third grader while saying "DONT TELL PEOPLE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER" to drown her out so i couldnt hear the numbers i was flabbergasted that someone would just. do that
I am also a huge fan of keeping my internet and personal lives separate for the most part. My social media side does not need to know my irl side and vice versa.
It's the level of information in it that's the issue. That page being linked on fr actually violates site rules, considering real name and phone number.
You can and many professionals manage without that. In fact, I've never seen phone numbers posted publicly, because not wanting prank calls and other shit. It's more common to give an email, and email has better paper trail as well as not needing both parties available at the same time.
Considering I am not US based US based laws do not apply to me if I were to doxx someone, even if I did it in the US I would still have my home countrys laws applied to me.
But the point is, like the anon below pointed out is how much PII Dakk has readily available. You don't need your full name or hometown to be hired in the proffesional field or the very least on a portfolio site. Not when he insists on flaunting it on several salt communities.
Be smart with what info you share on the internet, it's an unfortunate trend people have with oversharing on the web.

I run an anonymous community, and a commenter doxxed someone.
I deleted the comment, so I don't know if you still have it in your logs/system.
*link* (This was the original link to the comment.)
It contained the name, address, phone number, school, even the parents of the person they doxxed.
I'm unsure what to do, or if there is anything staff can provide- I'm in contact with the person who was doxxed and they're building a report.

Staff can't do anything about it, as my support ticket response stated.
I've given him plenty of warning to change/remove his PII. I've also stated I will screen what I can, but that's all I can do.
He can't delete comments here, so the record will clearly show he did nothing to protect himself, and that's not my fault.
I can't fix stupid.

You're literally saying:
Yes. I know that there is PII on a portfolio that I publicly link on Flightrising and that I POSTED MYSELF ON ANONRERISING.
No. I will not remove it even after it being pointed out.
Yes! I will pretend like me getting doxed is ACTUALLY the fault of this blog! And not me! :)
Go fuck yourself you pathetic piece of shit.
