I don't even remember tbh, nor what server that even was. I haven't traced since like 2014 that I know of, but it was for a personal piece, but then again, my memory is dirt poor lmao. I've never traced for a commission, and I'd love to know what art they're talking about.

Oh those, those were all personal works that I never sold, plus I was like 18 then so a total dumbass. I don’t even have the original files anymore because I don’t want to be associated with any of those anymore. I can’t even print that skin if I wanted to because it is on my previous account.

kind of disappointing that you keep finding excuses for why tracing doesnt matter that much when you did it. if this happened years ago on a prior account it should be pretty damn easy to just come clean and apologize, not repeatedly trying to sweep it under the rug.

Lol you published multiple pieces of art and a skin using stolen traced linework as an adult, had stolen as examples of stolen art on your commissions info post, and your response to people pointing coming here with receipts is... "It was in 2014 so I was a younger adult and didn't have a brain! I don't look at the files anymore and the traced skin is on a previous account so because I put it behind me without apologizing to any of the artists the rest of you should just, um, forgive and forget."

Even if you hadn't lied about the fact that you were posting stolen art well into 2019 this doesn't actually sound like acknowledging anything, and you joining in scolding an artist that's being harassed over using creative commons stock photos as references is hilarious.

I actually don’t think a single copy left my hands, as I never had enough people signed up to print the run so I think I only did a single print for myself. Which I should have never done in the first place, but was I smart? Not really. Have I done anything similar since 2019? No, never.

Wow these are some pretty damning receipts of Dakkokki blatantly tracing someone else's lineart and publishing the results as their own work multiple times, wow. Gross. No wonder they're banned from that channel due to art theft. I would have given Dakkokki a bit of grace if they had been drawing over a photograph, even if the photo wasn't licensed for use in that way, but tracing over someone else's lineart is just straight up scummy.

No. A 3 minute google search tells you that the copyright for this image is owned by vectorkingdom, it is not for public use, and the site watermark is for pixers, the site selling this art.

Also it's not a stock photo, it's a piece of drawn art that Dakkokki has plagiarized by literally tracing over the lines of the original artist.

Actually i think the other skull is also a stock image unless this is a slightly different but very similar goat skull with bone detail.

It's not for free public use. I doubt Dakkokki has paid the 80 dollar licencing fee.

Yeah all I'm seeing here is that neither of the goat skull drawings that Dakkokki plagiarized are creative commons. Adobe has the original artist listed and both of them are watermarked. Just because the original is listed on an asset store doesn't really change the fact that it was stolen and plagiarized.
