Seriously, "we delete shit related to our friends and upsets people" when the people are scammers and worse? BS.

Also, considering that they have users replying with names and ids, and sometimes the wrong individual's info and with no proof, they need to get off their high horses about this place allowing names.

i just came from smr and honestly? i like this place better.

i swear to god you can't have any casual salt or complaining there. a couple anons were talking about natron and a shit ton of regulars immediately pulled the "leave them alone this is bullying/harassment" shit. like come on, it's a salt blog, you came here for salt.

also the people running smr blatantly allow bait and useless shit to be posted. like they'll literally post asks with the bait emoji as a tag. and they answered an ask bitching them out for taking a hiatus. was the anon too much? sure. but it's so easy to just ignore that shit. at that point you're just asking for attention.

SMR is full of people who are incapable of thinking critically; I think ARR is far better about asking for proof and being reasonable before attacking anyone, maybe due to the typically older demographic.

ehhhh, theres been a nonzero amount of times where ive asked for proof/screens on peoples claims and then been accused of being the person that the claim is about despite being completely unrelated... i just want some concrete deets, man. not saying that SMR is better because i strongly prefer ARR, but both ARR and SMR have their dogshit proof-devoid drama at times.

tangentially related but im exhausted of drama where people accuse someone/a group of something serious, then dont post any proof whatsoever and claim that it's because they'll get in trouble if they share proof. i understand that there are cases where retribution is possible but its been so frequent that if theres no proof i just assume its usually people lying on the internet for fun and/or malice

Do share the tea, there's no way that just posting a link to an overlapping community has that deep of a meaning and gets these kinds of reactions for no reason.

The SMR mods (and many of their usuals) have compared ARR to /b/, reddit, etc, even kiwifarms, because of how Vasemod and I run things*. There was some... conflict a while ago between the comms as a result.

*Said usuals have CLEARLY never been on /b/ or kiwifarms, lol.

Reddit is highly variable. A sub with good mods is a lovely tea party, a sub with bad or neglectful mods quickly descends into MY EYES MY EYES OH GOD

i don't know if you're not aware of the history or what but we aren't exactly friendly to each other. there's some dissonance in acting like arr is a cesspit (which it is <3) and also directing your teeny bopper base to it
