Edit 2/1/2023: A new small guideline that has been added to the rules- please include direct links to profiles, especially if the user in question is being shady, since they go 'invisible' when FR locks/bans them.

(It's not mandatory, but it helps folks get those juicy details.)

Prepaid UMA Question

So, odd question. I took an unexpected hiatus for a while. I prepaid for an accent in 2020, and it didn't get enough funding to print, so it never got printed (checked the database to confirm). The artist is still active, but they don't appear to be active in making accents anymore. I genuinely don't know if it's acceptable or not to ask about it. I completely understand that I might be SOL cause of it being so long, but isn't it also considered rude to not refund if an accent doesn't get enough to fund it? I don't do social interactions outside of sales, so I really have no idea.

I was in a similar situation a few months ago, and you should definitely ask about it. Best case scenario they just forgot and you messaging them will remind them and get you your gems back!

Alright, thanks! I'll shoot em a message. Hopefully they just forgot, but worst case, they say no, and I'll just have to grind coli for a while. Not really a huge deal, since I'm there a lot as is.

That is exactly what happened! I sent a message with the thread and date of my CR and they trusted me (I forgot to attach a screencap of the actual CR, but I was a bit sleep deprived, the receipts are still there on both ends regardless). It went really well, and I got my gems back! They were simply busy and missed me by accident!
