Edit 2/1/2023: A new small guideline that has been added to the rules- please include direct links to profiles, especially if the user in question is being shady, since they go 'invisible' when FR locks/bans them.

(It's not mandatory, but it helps folks get those juicy details.)

Crowvidae's too nice for their own good and tbh I think Vaira got off easy because of that. It's obvious Vaira copied the code because they thought they could get away with it, and even when called out they still thought they could write it off as a mistake. It's probably a compilation of this thread and the drama blogs, and getting called out in public AAA chat that pushed them to where they realized they had no choice to apologize if they literally wanted to keep doing anything in the skinmaking world.

So much of this apology is still Vaira trying to write off the theft as abnormal behavior or "I didn't really REALLY mean to do it but my life was shit so you gotta emphasize and forgive me". Honestly guilt trippy and trying to make an excuse instead of fully owning their action. Like another anon said, just apologize, take responsibility, and move on. Why the sob story. The insistence that they don't usually copy other people's stuff is what's sus to me, like why you gotta emphasize that.

At least they apologized, which is more than most would do. What a 180 turn from their initial response though. But I hope they learn and don't pull this shit again.
