You can also sell OCs in general for money, your point?
I'm really not hooked into the low-digit ID community, so I dunno what's happening with auctions and private sales, but my personal experience is that they're both just getting more expensive. I think the cheapest 6-digit on the AH is like 1900g or more.
Even sticking to the site, the toxicity spills over. It’s easy to tell when some chat clique finds a target, they descend in a predictable pattern.

The ugly six digits sit on the ah for around 3500 gems and never sell. Anything priced below 2500 sells super fast to get flipped. The dragons are getting more expensive but buyers are getting more choosy with what low digit they are willing to sink a lot of gems into. I feel like there's the problem of too many flippers and not enough collectors to absorb it all and keep prices high for anything not special.
Genuine question since am a bit stupid. I bought a 6-digit when the Eliminate prices were ridiculous (also it was at an amazing price, lower digits for 300 gems!), and I would like to buy another but..

I know that it could be hard to flood the market with 6-digits, since no more can be made, but it could come to a point where the prices crash? Or this is just gonna get worse from now on?

man.. i am a skin artist, so a little interaction here and there is reasonable, but i swear i have never in seven years on this site received unsolicited interaction that was egregious enough that i had to make multiple forum posts, an extremely rude faq, bio warning, etc etc etc demanding people didn’t contact me? i feel like if you just keep your head down and don’t talk, there’s a pretty good chance nobody cares about your fr existence. i don’t think people should harass them, but come on?? i was rarely if ever bothered by people before i started making art/accents, and the approach they take is just guaranteed to provoke people.
6 digit dragons will only go up in price as long as you don't breed them because you can't ever get that low of a number again. They age like fine wine.

I knew people in college who were ungraduated after 11 years. Risky because some schools will say your credits expire after 10 years, but not all.
OP, I've seen a lot of this type of feeling in every petsite. Your anger will get you nowhere. The petsite will never be what you hope it's gonna be. It's always gonna be run by a too-small staff and will always have people who take it too seriously and act shitty. Cut back on your online time, play only when it makes you happy, learn to step back and let go of the outcomes. If you can't release these feelings it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy and you'll have to quit in anger. So start dialing back expectations now- it's never gonna be online utopia. With petsites, what you see is what you get. Curate your own experiences with it and stop holding them to the imaginary perfect standard, for your own sanity.

The closest they've done to unlimited restoration are progens. I don't see it ever happening to regular dragons because those scrolls then become an unlimited storage method.

Aren’t you not allowed to poll for age anymore?
Does anyone find it hard to sell old things from from your inventory, especially sprites? Like I have all these sprites I won't ever use and are just taking up space but I feel like it's hard to get rid of them. I guess I'm not really desperate for money either.
for me, personally, I got rid of my hoard of sprites by bribing other people for the nice things I actually want instead of just selling them off for pure.
I didn't know that but it makes sense from a safeguarding perspective. (...?) This is a 13+ game even though lots of adults play, too. Predators could seek younger flights to groom those members. I don't know, though. The opposite argument could be made that everyone knowing everyone else's age mitigates harm, accidental or not. And it's not like most people don't share their ages, gender, and country anyway, so I don't see a problem with compiling the data. Just thinking out loud, though.
+ Also, a predator could just as easily like about their age if it benefited them.
I've traded sprites for low digit dragons and as well as use them as partial pay for ks items
