i spent Way Too Many gems this morning and while it was absolutely worth it i'm trying to rebuild my stockpile and is2g almost no one is selling gems. I see maybe two users at most and sometimes there isnt a sales thread on the front page at all. I've only started paying attention to this in about the past half year (i got Very Into UMAs) so has it always been like this?

i definitely see more buy threads than sell threads, and buyers are always looking for a lower ratio. i'm not sure if it's because gems sell quick, even at a higher ratio, or if they sell veeery slowly so there's less incentive to sell @ higher than 1:1250 unless you're patient...

i'm so torn between keeping perma drags in hibden where i don't have to feed them, or main lair where they can bond with a familiar. food gets expensive when u have lots of mouths to feed :(

If I use a pose change scroll on a dragon, can it then equip skins of the opposite gender? I have a feeling like it won't work but might as well ask

You can wear any skin that matches the pose the dragon is currently set at.

You will have to unequip the skin/accent before you can toggle the pose switch though.

Sometimes it makes me sad how little in-flight auctions seem to be used. Like I know why that is, actually selling things is easier on the main AH, but sometimes I go to the flight specific AH and it's just so dead. There are like, only 100 or so dragons in the AH for my flight. XD

Hello everyone! We need to take a moment to address a bit of housekeeping in advance of the revamped World Map launch:

The new world map default state is not a static image.

What this means is that alongside the map launch there will be an updated warning message regarding flashing and/or moving graphical elements. Currently the seizure alert covers only the Fairgrounds and Coliseum. The updated alert will cover Fairgrounds, Coliseum, and the new World Map.

While the landing page for the new map is static—which is where you'll be able to choose to have these map elements on or off—this alert will push to everyone, regardless of whether or not you've acknowledged it previously. When this happens, it's not a bug, it's working as intended. We ask that everyone please take a moment to read the warning before clearing it and/or selecting not to receive the warning again.

The new map and warning pop-up launch on Monday March 1st after the "curtains down" scheduled maintenance, which starts at 08:00 server time.

Confession: I constantly walk a tightrope with my clan energy - try to keep it at 82 at all times, with the rationale that letting as many of my permas as possible go starving while fully feeding the others and rotating out fodder before they get too hungry (and I avoid buying priority-eating-breed fodder unless I'm planning to exalt before the next tickdown) is the most efficient way to do it in terms of pure food-point expenditure.

It's a deeply dumb way to be - I could just use all the time I waste converting/feeding until the level is *just* past the safe point to just farm for more coli crap, feed everybody to 100, and not think about it.

When I accidentally take too many hits in the coli (or buy a starving dragon or exalt a full one or etc) and lose my bonus, I'm always annoyed at myself...but secretly relieved because for the rest of that day until rollover I don't have to watch the meter.

Anyone else make feeding more complicated than it needs to be?

I guess it depends on how much time you spend in the coli, because I exalt pretty regularly and never seem to run short of food to convert to keep my clan at 100%. It doesn't feel like a waste of food unless I buy fodder that's literally starving and have to feed it an outsize amount to get it battle ready. But maybe that's different if you're running low or sell all your food or whatever.
