ADDENDUM TO RULE THREE (3): Because I do NOT want another instance of shit that happened this month, and the shit that happened in @anonrising, Fandom Politics are NOT ALLOWED. This includes, but is not limited to:

•          Anime
•          Fanfiction/Fanart 
•         Anti/Proshipping war bullshit      

*These subjects almost inevitably bring up Anti/Proship bullshit and there are folks on both sides who might be triggered by certain content, or feel dismissed by various argument points on both sides. As a result, THEY ARE  NOT ALLOWED. This site is for DRAGON DRAMA, not your Pro/Anti shipping bullshit. Take it to fandomwank or fandom_secrets or whatever other platform they're using nowadays.

I think the apparel is definitely underwhelming, but I would rather have an underwhelming but easy to apply fest apparel than overwhelming, bulky, and eyesore apparel like the mashed potato cauldrons or the plague harp. (I love the harp itself but the full outfit that came with just took over the whole dragon lol)

This fest apparel does look like a super cheap accent but I will take it.

I think festival apparel does not need always to be grandeur and big, when it is more subtle like this years you can easier incorporate it into other dress ups.

oh yeah definitely! My favorite apparel this round of fest items so far is the Light "Daybreak Decorations". It's so small, easy to incorporate, and just overall fantastic and I don't even really have a 'Light' aesthetic in my lair. I ended up hoarding 15 of them for future use due to versatile they are and I love it!! I plan on grabbing quite a few of these shadow ones with the same mindset. (while I only grabbed like...2 harps)

yah I'd rather have them go for smaller things maybe. see spellscroll or so for level of detail and size I'd appreciate a lot. This one definitely misses the mark for me because of the badly-made-accent vibes but I like this a lot more than the next copypasted fest item of 4 fishes in groups of 5 all over the dragon

I feel this, I think the concept (though I'm not 100% sure what it is...) is cool but the execution is lacking a little oomph, like the tension that's trying to be conveyed is lacking subtlety and organicness so it's just kinda flat and stiff, if that makes sense. I think it looks best on female bogsneaks and female faes, just a cute little goth cape

I was doing cartwheels over the apparel, definitely with you that 'small versatile accent piece' is much better than stuff that takes over the entire dragon.
