Eve if they're new, plenty of people research pet sites, and flight rising isn't new. There's plenty of guides.

If they're a returning player, they're allowed to do that.

If they're not scamming, leave em alone.

I mean being familiar with concepts like G1/G2 is hardly unusual for a new player, "bred thing less valuable" is pretty standard on pet games with a breeding mechanic

Obsidian XXY could just be because Obsidian/Obsidian is a nice combination

I like the new breeed, but just FYI & fact check, Qilin the mythical creature that you guys draw inspirations from originate from Chinese mythologies, not Korean. It was adopted of course into both Japanese and Korean cultures accordingly due to heavy Chinese influence on the neighboring countries historically

....I'm not trying to be sarcastic BTW. I genuinely am having trouble telling if this is a BEC moment for me or not.

I'm actually kind of confused as to what their point even is.

Are they mad that staff said "we're going with Girin for this" and not the "original" chinese version? So what if the "prototype" came from China? Staff explained their inspirations and explained that they went with the Korean Girin for a reason and nowhere are they saying "kirin" (why are we referring to the Japanese creature now???) come from Korea. I don't know why anyone would assume that.

the lowkey chinese nationalism is making me giggle. these paragraphs read like they were ran through a translator tbh so maybe its reading worse than it is, but I think there is also a very real chance that this is a Chinese person who is simply anti-Japanese or anti-Korean.

Unfortunately, I'm a bit disappointed with the official fest items. The apparel I think it the biggest fail, it just looks super unbalanced. I wish it added some more vines and butterflies over the dragon, and the poses where the plant hangs straight down look really bad. I actually love the Pitcher plant, but I feel like it would have been a better fit for a fantasy satchel item on the waist or shoulder.

Sword and the familiar are nice. I feel like the sword could have been more inspired, a more floral blade shape would be nice. It feels like a normal machete/sword (sorry, don't know an exact name) with some plant growth on it.

Familiar had amazing potential but comes off a little too zoomed out and busy. I really love the inspiration bird for it (I think it's a Lady Amherst's pheasant), but I think the glowing bulb under its chin really muddies the silhouette and is unnecessary.

What do yall think?

It's by far my least favorite apparel from this cycle; it looks so weird/unbalanced. Agree with the fam being way too busy, too. Sword is fine; I'm just happy for more weapons.

After seeing the final of the gryphons, none of the familiar from this cycle will live up to Earth's sabertooth/terror bird for me.

Someone must've pissed in their cereal this morning based on how salty they were in the surge expansion thread:
