also did you forget gemajgall was the OP of the main eye vial thread and that it's completely normal pvp forum behavior for OPs to respond to other replies on their suggestion threads?
even taking that into account their posts still only made up 16% of that thread. there were nearly 1700 comments on that thread of people frustrated with a frequently requested aesthetic mechanic that was poorly implemented.
i am going to be real with you: i simply dislike gem. i sort of thought the "i am letting myself get sidetracked by my own personal 'bitch eating crackers' beef with this user" part would come off as slightly tongue-in-cheek on its own, but i will just put it out there directly: that is what was happening there, and why i reacted so strenuously from revisiting her profile (to remind myself how gemajgall is spelled) and seeing from her recent posts oh of COURSE gem is all up in that thread too.
(and yes, I do think it is weird to keep relentlessly arguing with people once a thread has become dozens of pages long, particularly when it is combined with similarly endless debates repeated in any other suggestions threads about eyes. but this digression is getting even more out of hand considering I already openly stated my dislike of gem is no longer a rational thing, wheeze.)
my disproportionate dislike of gem notwithstanding, the behavior i am describing is still very much a thing in the suggestions forum, and by no means limited to gemajgall. like the first anon who replied to me said, it is actually pretty frustrating behavior, since people who go against the grain in "no support"-ing suggestions about making any limited thing less limited will frequently get dogpiled upon speaking up.
NA I mean you're not wrong to dislike gema, she's a total jackass with a long history of being insufferable. Even with her being the OP of that thread, one user making up 16% of the posts on such a huge thread is an eye-popping statistic, one that does not stand in her favor. It's the exact type of behavior that makes other people not want to post in that forum.
