PLEASE i'm begging all skin and accent artists... please stop making the dragon base behind your accent gradiated in your forum post preview. coloring the base a single flat is fine, i get that it makes your skin look "better" compared to grey, but making it a bunch of different colors makes it really hard to tell what's actually a part of the skin. does the skin have a full-body fade, or is it just the background? i just got jebaited today by a gorgeous accent that also covered the back wing in a solid color, which i didn't see at all until visiting reskin because the artist made the dragon bg a gradient that used that same color. i just want to buy accents and this makes it very confusing T-T
like, i'm a #aesthetic bitch myself so it's not like i don't sympathize with the impulse, but it would be nice to like. reel it in a bit! make the previews a little more user-friendly to parse, especially since previewing with reskin is only going to come into play when i am shopping for a dragon i already own, rather than hoping to find a g1 to wear the skin or something.
