Undel said they will. The art files are simply flipped, not newly drawn with an alternate perspective, so there's no reason for skins (or apparel) to break.

I can confirm that everything including skins flip with the dragon.

Not sure if it was deleted or not but did anyone else see that person in the thread that said that the flipped dragon poses gave them severe nausea or something? I emphasize with folks who have issues with eyestrain and the like but I don't see any reason why flipping a picture would cause that (especially if the original image doesn't cause these issues?) Is this person being overdramatic or am I being insensitive about a condition?

I have no doubt that there are people who are sensitive to visual stimuli that flipped dragon poses would be headache inducing. The human body is very strange sometimes. A person can both be correct about being in physical discomfort and also obnoxious about it.

one of the earlier april fools day events had the dragons rotated, and it caused a massive outcry because people were becoming disoriented/nauseated/etc. from it. there are studies showing that changing the way images (animated or static) display in can cause visually induced motion sickness, so it's possible this player may have it.

Pretty sure that was the inciting incident that gave us a toggle for april fools events too. For this reason.

to be fair, the April fools rotate gag was done to everyone’s lair without their choice or prior notice, whereas the new scroll is purely optional. Staff may not have thought it as much of a concern, since it’s an optional thing. That said, I see no harm in a toggle so people don’t have to run across it in the wild if they’d rather not see it, so I hope they consider it.

also i called it an "earlier" april fool's day, as in i thought it was one from maybe 6 years ago at the least. i didn't think it was from three years ago. time isn't real, buy gold, eat at arby's.
