I got so much tonal whiplash from the shift between "I was literally thrown out on the streets in winter with cancer to die" and "ugh it's so hard to grind coli to get pixel stuff" afjdksjds

This is a person who claims that they are dying in poverty with metastatic cancer and chronic pain while living in a group situation with their r*pist and a person who has repeatedly beaten them senseless (while their partner I guess does...nothing?).

I simply cannot get my head around any of this.

To be fair, anyone who could stand AC long enough to count as a partner has got to be at least as messed up as they are.

I got the impression that the abuser/rapist was a parent or step parent, which isn't an extremely implausible scenario.

I'm leaning towards there being a foundation of truth in their life situation as described, but that parts are overexaggerated.
