NAYRT I mean, they could be further off. The most recent 4 digit sale that I saw was this (https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/baz/3099541/1#post_3099541) and it received offers of "28kg Pure, Light Sprite (65kg LAH), + specialty dragon" and "80kg pure."
Granted, prices for a lot of things have *spiked* since then. (...Like light sprites) And 4 digits absolutely can go for 200kg+ (like the imps here https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/baz/3071472/1#post_3071472). So, I would say that the user isn't going to get any bites, but that offer wouldn't have been egregious just 2 years ago.
AYRT, Yeah they definitely could be offering a worse price I agree with you there, 100kg is nothing to scoff at. Just that these days things are so incredibly expensive even compared to that sale that seeing that 100kg offer today is a little comical, sad but comical.
Just for data points, I found a June 2023 4 digit sale for 100kg (https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/baz/3243102/1#post_54289163). It mentions couple of earlier sales -- one for 120kg, and another for "more than 70kg." So they miiiight find someone willing to sell for 100kg now, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
