I took a hiatus before Undertides, and I remember how badly people were saying they wanted a noodle/eel ancient. They wanted a no legs/arms design! I come back after Undertides. I'm pretty sure that the last time I checked the dragon search there were more Sandsurges than Undertides - and those are gem gene dragons.
Generic sells. Super niche designs don't, not as well.
not disagreeing with you, but I dislike undertides despite wanting an eel dragon because their wings really just dont fit to me and their fins come across as webbed fingers instead of fully aquatic fins
