I feel bad for them (please don’t go bug ‘em, they seem stressed) but my dude, why play this site if you can never figure out how to do anything and seem stressed out by it?

My question is, if a site is so dysfunctional for you and causes you stress, why even bother with it, and why do they insist that nothing works for them when they can't even provide proof that nothing works for them? They have been asked over and over to show screenshots what is wrong etc. but they claim they cant for whatever obscure reason.

If they say that the site is so broken for them like the claim it is, their laptop must be the most virus infested thing to ever exist, and their screen is probably full of random toolbars.

AnpuRa goes out of their way to make problems for themself and refuse to do anything simple or completely laid out for them step by step by admins. 'they seem stressed' doesn't even need to be a reason; it's just better for everyone to not engage, as there's nothing to gain from trying to aside from your own frustration or a sense of joy from agitating them more.

every complaint they have can't be duplicated because the issue is between the computer and the chair, not with the site; they should find another game to play that's on their level of understanding instead of violently fighting every ounce of help they get.

It's a wonder they can navigate to the site at all if it's actually as broken as they say it is constantly. Staff has the patience of saints.

I would not believe for a second that they are stressed, they always stir up trouble acting incompetent and then beg to be left alone. If they wanted to be left alone then they should stop posting stupid stuff in public spaces, simple as that.

Btw this is not to say that they are incompetent because they use a screen reader or anything because I believe that's what they use to navigate the site based on mousemods response to them. Regardless of finding bugs or having trouble with their screen reader, their reactions and responses to advice and people trying to help is simply dumb imo

Looking at it seriously, them using a screen reader/having vision problems actually does explain a lot of the issues they’ve had, and their consistency in sticking with the site because I doubt most websites are any better. I’m still surprised they play given how visual heavy the site is though.

They're a decade-old account (owned by someone who supposedly has been through tertiary education) incapable of listening to basic instructions or following intuitive features designed for children (yet can navigate their computer), have unique issues no one else can replicate, are incapable of providing screenshots, are confused with nearly every new feature (hoard, AH, Arlo, etc), act stubborn and ungrateful, etc. The fact that they stopped responding shortly after Aequorin pointed out they successfully donated items should be a dead giveaway.

Every time someone asked him for or gave him information about a problem, he would change what the problem was. Every time someone provided him clear and unambiguous information about how the feature he was trying to use worked - often outright saying things like 'the problem you claim to experience is technologically impossible' - suddenly that was working fine and the problem was gone, but now there was a completely different problem.

Getting him to provide screenshots took half a day and multiple for-dummies tutorials on how to do it, and then the screenshots he provided were either cropped weirdly, or didn't even display the thing people had asked for screenshots of.

He's deleted the evidence now, but AnpuRa is NOT as technologically illiterate as he pretends. He is a skilled digital artist and has maintained a portfolio on FurAffinity for years, he used to regularly livestream art and games on two different platforms. He has enough knowledge to take and send a screenshot.

Someone who has trained to use a screenreader here - the fact they couldn't name what program they're using means they're completely bullshitting. Different screen readers work slightly differently, add to that the platdorm differences... even someone using a phone app would need to know- Android needs to download its reader. iOS and Windows do have built in ones, Windows' isn't that great, and then there's other PC ones you have to go deliberately download. One of these is free, others are paid.

You also have to go turn on the built-in ones yourself initially, then you can leave them on. The not-built-in PC ones have a setup wizard. What AnpuRa describes is closest to a phone screen reader, as PC users would be taught to navigate mouseless - again, Android's has to be deliberately downloaded and iOS's announces its name at screen reader start up, and anyone who's been trained on it will have the name of the program repeatedly mentioned by their instructor in my experience with the DVR / blind training.

One last thing. Phone screen reader users navigate via gestures, so it's still not actually a matter of clicking tge buttons. You can click the buttons, but gesture navigation is better as it doesn't require any remaining residual vision. Same principle as keyboard navigation for pc screen reader users. (There are alternative methods to navigate a pc for the blind, but none of these alternatives will involve a mouse for those who cannot touch type!)

Exactly. This is not an actual screenreader use, it's just trolling and dragging in screenreaders into it (probably because AnpuRa saw the post about screen reader accessibility), because they certainly aren't acting like they actually use one. Knowing which screen reader you're using is about as basic as knowing what OS you have, and they failed to describe a method of usage they would have learned if they actually needed it.

Thanks for all this explanation, tbh I've never used a screen reader so I wasn't quite sure about their actual issues but this sort of confirms my assumption that they are being stupid on purpose to get a reaction from people.
