I'm not surprised it is a new modern, new features are more coding intensive and they're still trying to rework the old site shit to make things work for the big project, adventure mode.
I would love to see more collection achievements, including for groups of items that don’t already have them. The items themselves don’t have to be inherently valuable (in fact, I would argue that low-value items should be the targets), but things like getting at least 1 of each item from each venue in the coli would take time
It would also be nice to see more battle achievements that would take longer to complete. I feel like the only achievements that are REALLY long-term are the breeding ones, which is a bit of a shame because it takes almost no effort (even over the course of literal years)
In general, a lot of the self-made user challenges could be turned into achievements. I’m partial to coli-related ones because I really enjoy that area of the site, but bigger achievements could be added in most categories (brewing, Arlo, Fiona, etc.) to give folks who are close to maxing out (or who have already maxed out) certain tabs new goals
