I blocked them because they're eye strainy af and didn't enjoy being pinged by them despite having marked myself as Do Not Ping for Eyestrain on GASP, and their pings say they ran their pinglist for eyestrain.... so they're def going around GASP rules.

Some people don't like to receive unsolicited offers on dragons, so that might be why. It's probably just as simple as she wanted to know if you were going to keep the dragon or not before making an offer.

+1, I know piscine is weird asf but personally I don't start with an offer straight away, I start by asking if said dragon is up for offers at all in the first place

Does anyone else find it weird as fuck that some people are accusing staff of fatphobia based on the body sizes of the newer breeds?
I say this as someone whose favorite breed is Snappers. I wouldn't mind some heavier breeds myself, but trying to make a moral cause out of dragon images strikes me as pretty odd behavior.

there's this weird thing that's happening nowadays that people seem to want to have a Legitimate Reason to dislike/want/ something to change, so instead of just saying "hey, i want more heavyset dragons", they have to turn it into a stance of "this is fatphobia!", even though that's not what fatphobia is.

yeah I wouldn't call it fatphobia, but lately the basic breed shape/profile has had Same Face Syndrome, and I'd love more variation.

also this probably isn't the most popular opinion but I wish the devs would put more energy towards making new site features/customization options instead of pumping out ancient breeds constantly - maybe we'll see a lull in releases once all the flights have one?

Personally I really do like the designs in the thread but at this point I’m just kind of desperate for anything that pushes FR’s formula more. That’s part of the reason why I love the art community on FR, there’s plenty of people that will go wild with FR’s canon! I definitely have a couple artists I love for that kind of work - Jouska28, Dinnerbell, and Quintillion come to mind, though I could definitely come up with some more if anyone’s curious.

I know a friend who got messaged by them as well several months ago. They didn't leave my friend an offer because my friend wanted to keep their dragon, so maybe they really are just trying not to be rude with forced offers?
