real bummed out :( i frequent steal a dragon above you threads and theres another person who is frequent on them too, today i got them as my above-you person and checked their lair and theyd completely jacked my skeeze. the same naming conventions for their lair tabs (all of them are synonyms to my own), same color schemes in those tabs, and the same idea of mine with a scribe lore dragon that has art of the locations of my lair tabs + my dragons with lore that are in those tabs

not only am i bummed but also am i weird to be kinda freaked out ???
i dont want to namedrop because that would be the pettiest shit but i definitely am an unhappy little camper

anon, respectfully, this sounds like 70% of lairs I see. especially lore lairs. yes youre weird to be "freaked out" about having the most basic lair scheme and being worried somebody stole it from you

this needs more context - we need to be able to compare the two to actually know if this is a weird case of stalking or if your theme is just basic

i dont want to deanon but ill try to make analogous comparisons
lets say my lair tabs are all based on home depot paint colors. these arent their real names but they are a similar vibe
"violet sparkle" "pink taffy" "blackberry wine" "hazy lilac" and "charmed violet". their lair tabs are named "purple sparkles" "rose taffy" "grape wine" "foggy lilac" and "charming violet" with dragons of similar colors sorted into the tabs that i have

and then past that; i have a directory dragon, with art of each of these lair tabs and their names, and beneath each tab is all the dragons in that tab that have lore. its formatted a very specific way

all of it TOGETHER is what kind of just freaks me out. my whole lairs theme isnt Untouchable and Unique at all, i see dozens of people who also like home depot paint colors even if it isnt something done to death like Angels and Eyes. but it feels so weird to go to someones lair and see it kind of replicated like this wholesale

thats the big reason i dont want to deanon nor mention this persons username is because ultimately its not actually freaky stalking or whatever. but it absolutely is unsettling for me to see

i know what you're describing. a few people years ago quit over it, they had specific aesthetics and members would copy it and others would gaslight saying nuh uh that's not copied

first of all flight rising literally has over 100,000 combinations you could create. to specifically copy the dragon combo + layout means yes, they absolutely copied you. its not "inspo". people can tell the diff between inspo lairs and literally copied lairs

nowww you don't know what reason they have for copying you. limit what they can do by blocking them from viewing your lair. they can, and might, evade this by logging out to view but atleast you tried.

If this is 5ive, the only remotely similar lair I can find in the Steal a Gen One above you thread is "Akhilleus" which in retrospect isn't really similar at all, the tabs just have similar naming schemes, being two word names. I will continue looking because I am curious.

Even though, in semantic HTML, isn’t a unique design. It’s common sense to group information like this. Saying another user copied ’their template’ is like saying all 3-column websites are rip-offs of each other

Yeah, it's pretty much definitely 5ive commenting here, but I want to see the copy-cat lair lol. Like I said, the only one I could find even slightly similar was Akhilleus, but I cannot seem to find a lore dragon in that lair so it might be someone else, who knows. I really want to find the lair just to see how similar they really are.

i literally was looking through the forum games yesterday trying to find OP and easily saw 5 different users with an extremely similar set up

sorry but even if someone did "steal" this idea from OP it's hardly original. i would imagine someone just saw their lair set up and thought, oh wow i really like how that looks, i want to do something similar!
