MC's mistake was attempting to collaborate with AA. Also, unfortunately, being incompetent themselves.
I've been a dom lead in a successful dom flight. If it were up to me, I'd start a new team and frankly proceed as if the other two don't exist. They're useless and attempting to work with them is a waste of time.
+1 I think there is a path forward if enough good people joined AA and started to perform tasks but that is a slower path.
The fastest path is a takeover. No negotiations, just showing up to do dom. If you do it better, people will start to listen.
That being said I understand 100% why people with the experience to do this kind of thing are staying out of it. It's a lot of work for no tangible rewards and probably a lot of drama.
