An important update:

Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.

This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.

(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)

Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.

(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

ya sorry saying that cross gave you a bunch of "big gifts" just makes me suspect you even more.

honestly good riddance. anyone who willingly interacts with cross, off site no less, probably doesn't need to be around. that may be a bit harsh but i don't trust anyone who calls cross a friend.

But they didn't have to do business with Cross. Cross was a buyer here. Not the seller. The imp scroll person sold more than that item.

cross is falsifying information about users committing rmt, so i assumed he was the seller.

I hadn't seen reports of that this time. And I doubt Cross would do this in a way to get himself banned.

It looked like the start of this set of bans was the sketchy imp scroll HOVERCRAFT had, and the others are probably courtesy of staff tracing back.

I think cross and hover were linked, and now that cross was finally banned, he's accusing anyone he can.

If FR was tracing this themselves, they'd have gotten shian instantly. cross just didn't report her because he still likes her, so FR hasn't looked.

I don't know all the details, but I heard that Hovercraft bought something from Cross.... and then did a chargeback on Cross, which exposed them both and got them both banned.

I'd seen people claiming Hovercraft was a Cross multi. So I'm going to assume at this point that there's a fuckton only known by certain parties involvedish, that I'm unaware of and didn't show up here til now.

They were all buddy-buddy with Cross before he started harassing them, so it's not far out of the realm of possibility.

I know someone would have to be insane for this but I'm thinking like the maniac in question. if someone were to giftbomb someone then later tell staff after a falling out "I didn't gift them that, they bought it from me," how could staff ever verify that? It would get even more muddy if there was any $ transactions between the two for art or something, or irl reasons to send $.

My ex once gifted me a dragon on the same day I paid him rent, could he present that crossroads and venmo screenshot to staff and get me banned?

I don't envy staff at all. It seems like a mess to sort stuff like this out.

You wouldn't get banned for cross simply saying "it wasn't a gift, they bought it." Even if you DID buy it, screenshots alone aren't really enough to get you banned. Too easy to alter.
