An important update:
Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.
This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.
(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)
Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.
(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

(Anonymous) 2023-11-18 01:38 am (UTC)(link)from my point of view and only having access to the kickstarter updates, throughout its development, it always mixed a lot of existing petsite features and systems all the way down to how the UI looks. not necessarily just FR and not even just the genes, but also gryffs, felisfire, wajas, lioden... to me, it doesn't seem to have enough uniqueness to set it apart from the others. i can be wrong though, and 'if it's not broken don't fix it' is a perfectly understandable way to develop a game. it seems very inspired by a lot of things on the surface and anyone with prior experience playing enough petsites, without access to the site, would be just as prone to making connections to things they've seen elsewhere.
