An important update:

Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.

This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.

(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)

Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.

(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

Anyone know why they were banned???

I'm just shocked they already made a new account. Now they technically can't go back to the previous one... Or have to not use this one at all

in the rex discord she's claiming to be "unfairly" banned for RMT, which, considering the recent wave of bans, i'm not inclined to believe

This is exactly what I was thinking when I saw her banned. I kind of wish she'd stayed away so I don't have to see her list being a jesus freak as one of her hobbies. I guess that's what the block button exists for anyway, after all lol

Seems like a lot of accounts are biting the dust after inquiring about Seenya's riches after they made an RMT ad. Either that or the staff has starting a crackdown on major rmt dealers.
Seriously how many people have been banned now? I know of these accounts but I guess there are more.

It's really interesting that deadmilkman from Shadow is immediately advertising their Rex look-a-likes. They tried to advertise it in the actual Rex thread, but their posts aren't there anymore, so they made their own thread.

Just strange that they're immediately hopping on this.

They are also friends with Crustyglowstick's new account, so I would probably stay away from them

What's the story with crustyglowstick exactly? I know a bunch of people like their skins and art, but I keep seeing people say they stay away from them.

they aren’t an outright awful person like some of the fr infamous. i have personal issues with them which i won’t disclose here, but there was drama months ago about their subspecies- they’re the sort who’s overly protective of their generic eyeburner dragon genes/colors, i believe they accused someone of copying them. they’re also a bit smug about their christianity, which rubs some people the wrong way for obvious reasons.

Not the same anon as above, but pretty much them throwing a vague pity party cause someone made a dragon similar to their Rex's colours, and also openly doing so in the Rex Army thread a handful of months ago, where people acted pretty brashly/fanatically is what absolutely turned me off and made me block CG.

Like I am sorry, eye burners are popular, people can like a combo and then decide they want to breed them as well. That does not mean they personally attacked you, cause CG sure as hell acted as if they got hit with that.

At one point they had a blurb in their rex army description thread that was basically 'don't copy my dragon- they're very special to me; if you want a copy you can buy one from me' which obviously folks took issue with (and lead to the clones being bred and the woe is me someone copied my dragon post) because like. You can't claim exclusive ownership over particular gene/color combos.

This was later edited to say not to copy their *lore* for their dragons. Which is a much more reasonable request.

Not to be a white knight/defender, but I've had some long convos with CG, and religion came up bc I have G1's that are gened/named/themed after Egyptian gods, as well as one of Odin, Loki, Eris, and Cernnunos, and she was never weird about it.

She asked genuinely curious questions, and we had a nice discussion about my paganism, and not once did she give me the "You're going to Hell" or "You should convert" or "I'm better than you bc you're a heathen" type of attitude.

I know some aggressively Reddit type atheists can get really up in arms about people openly being Christian, but CG has always been pleasant or neutral in that regard whenever we chatted.

Yes, she can be a bit over possessive of her Rex Army, and yes, she may have fucked up with RMT or whatever really got her banned, but she's not one of those Westboro/Southern Baptist levels of "CONVERT REPENT OR BURN" types.

Agreed. There's definitely weird Christians but someone having a tab of vaporwave angels or saying they go to church isn't that bad. Focusing on her Christianity detracts from legitimate criticisms of her since it puts the fault on her religion instead of her as a person.

Seriously. Focus on her being a shit person.

Admittedly, the wears their religion on their sleeve types confuse me, but it's their choice. I believe religion is a very private and personal connection. Not something to scream off the mountaintops.
