An important update:

Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.

This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.

(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)

Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.

(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

When you switch, you no longer get the benefit of other users working to win from the flight you leave. Therefore, there's nothing wrong with that. Honestly, he should just do that if he wants to profit here.

why should they leave just because they don't want to participate in one dom battle? maybe they like the aesthetics or the lore or maybe they just plain don't feel like leaving.

I do agree that's the best option if they want profit and to support their own flight at the same time since that's the only way OP can adhere to OOF PB rules. However, if they're not opposed to selling to the opponent flight anyway, I don't think not switching makes them an asshole either. Again, they are never obligated to contribute to their own flight's battle and they're not taking anything away from anyone with those dom bonuses that got pushed onto them that they apparently don't even care about. Otherwise by your logic, anyone who doesn't care about dom in a battling flight and sell fodder on realm-wide is also an asshole which doesn't make sense since these people aren't necessarily benefiting from the flight community or even willfully engaging in it.

Unless they obtained that fodder through flight funds at a discount meant to go towards their own flight or anything similar, they do not owe their flight (or any flight for that matter) their fodder just because they have a specific flight flag under their profile. Plenty of people send their fodder to opposing flights during a battle for badges/foddart etc. and I'd never consider them as assholes even if they're in my flight. The opposing flight got their attention and dragons fair and square with incentives they care about. It seems like OP's main motivation is dragon cash, which is fair and the same logic applies here. I think people seem to forget that it's literally the dom team's job to incentivize in-flight exalts during a battle and that in-flight people don't owe them that - guilt-tripping these people as if they owe them fodder during a battle is counterproductive and pretty toxic IMO, plus it sweeps the dom team's incompetence under the rug.
