An important update:

Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.

This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.

(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)

Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.

(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

I decided to be nice as I have a lot of space in my lair that I don't always use.

So I leant some of it out for a mass egg hatch and yeah, 1k or whatever amount eggs to hatch is a lot and plenty of people were nice enough to loan out space for them all.

But it has taken 3 months.

We are doing this for free, I don't expect anything but now they are asking people to help price the dragons and of course it's a shet show since some are asking for payment for their services and others aren't.

I really don't care but I am sick of these dragons in my lair now and they are eating all my plants. I have a specific amount I like to be above and each day it goes below that, making me stressed..silly I know.

I am close to exalting them and leaving the discord.

I'm never loaning out free lair space again.

Honestly, I'd ask for some compensation in food, or a flat fee to pay to replace the food the squatters have eaten.

I'd prod them (not so gently) and say "When are you taking these dragons back? I want a date/time to send them back, or some kind of compensation for my time and food."

If they waffle on you? Refuse to send any of them back for less than fodder price. No one would blame you, and staff won't do anything about it because once a dragon leaves your lair... it's not yours anymore, so technically, those dragons are yours.

I certainly wouldn't be doing a callout or such about you because you're the one who took the time providing a free service, and they're the ones taking advantage.

Tell em to pony up or cut their losses. It was supposed to be temporary, and three months is ridiculous.

(Especially if this is about AoiNoRyuu, because if so, you're not the only one they're taking advantage of. I was waiting for an auction for one of their doubles, but even my love of a certain XX color isn't enough for me to ignore how badly they've been treating the folks who volunteered to help them.)

If this is about the cheapskate that ran a 1000 egg mass hatch, my advice: contact them both on and off site privately with an ultimatum.(on site to give yourself a paper trail so they can't claim scam.)

Tell them them have this much time to get these dragons out of your lair(probably 1-2 weeks.) before they become your dragons.

At the end of the time, do not exalt them. Sell them yourself. Do not call the user out. Just remove all things labeling them part of the hatch, put em in a tab and say you are looking for offers on the forums.

There are buyers interested in dragons from the hatching that refuse to deal with the user after how much of an ass they've been. Not sure if you have any of the doubles, but you could probably make up for your time and food if you have any nice ones.

Technically, you could just say my dragons now at this point, that was being nice. But if you go the mine now route, it may lead to annoying drama.

Unfortunately, they gave all the mediocre dragons to be held by the boarders whilst holding onto all the XXY XYX etc

I would feel quite bad if I exalted them and really don't want to deal with the fallout.
I also don't want to rock the boat nor cause issues, I was genuinely trying to help and now I feel stupid for doing so.

Thank you for the offers to help me, I don't want to come off as rude by declining it. I'm just happy that a few people care and have offered some great advice.

Well, there's still likely pretties in the lot you have that will end up not selling, as a lot of folks,won't deal with the idiot.

Good luck however it goes, and if you end up holding what sounds like fodder to ordinary hatches for too long, remember that the ball is in your court, and they are being unreasonable.

Assuming this is about AoiNoRyuu, the chaotic in me kinda want to see those boarders banding together, giving her an ultimatum and exalting/dropping the dragons at below fodder floor at a certain date. The fallout will be nasty and annoying to deal with so it probably wouldn't happen but damn I'd like to see sweet justice for the people she's been taking advantage of...

Just been given 100 gems as thanks for holding the fodder gen 1's.

I am not sure it's monetary now, because that just isn't it. I didn't do it for the money, just the length of time is inconvenient to me that is all.

I will donate the gems to my flights dom bank, I don't feel right having it.

My guess is she's doing it to keep you from exalting, unless she took them back at the same time.

Considering the annoyed rumblings, it wouldn't be impossible for a friend to see the drama comms and go, "pay your boarders before they keep/exalt your dragons."

Ngl, that's a shit amount even if you were doing it for the money.

There's an Arcanite paying 500t per week for boarding until AvL right now. 3 months means boarding is worth 6kt/g per dragon. Unless you're boarding only 16 dragons for 3 months, which doesn't sound like you are, you're still getting fleeced. Not to mention, she didn't even give you a date when these dragons should be gone from your lair.

I also signed up to board and they are all in my hibden and I've been barely active most of the year so its no cost to me to have them hanging out, but now we are the ones having to set up cr/pa to sell the dragons, would have declined boarding if I'd known I'd need to be active to sell the dragons I hadn't logged on for a week when I got the discord notification about selling them. The way I thought it would go down is that they'd be sold in batches with those batches being sent to AoiNoRyuu who would be selling, I really hate having the money on my hands when I might drop off the face of the earth for another week but sending a pm for every 10g sale seems...inefficient.

I honestly hope none of the ones I'm looking after sell.
I am too busy for this BS

Share your sentiment, if I knew i'd have to be the seller as well as the boarder. I would have not bothered. Just want my space back.
