Spooky Spite

An important update:

Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.

This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.

(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)

Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.

(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

Yea, I don't agree with a multi-person ban over one instance if the only thing that transpired was buying dragon around a [possibly super petty reason] block. If it happened over and over again, especially with the same person, then sure. The action however warrants a warning from staff or a suspension though, because rules are rules and these rules are there [in theory] to prevent more egregious harassment.

I really hope we don't exist on a site where the staff are playing favorites with high income generators. I worry they are more readily disciplining people on behalf of pettier complaints from whales, while ignoring tickets alleging serious harassment/harm from players who do not give the site a lot of money. We're all familiar with the absolute worst offenders who are still prowling about, who happen to be rich.

That will leave a sour taste in my mouth if favoritism is getting people off the hook. Everyone must face violating the TOS equally when it happens.
