An important update:

Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.

This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.

(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)

Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.

(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

I'll be honest, it was likely an oversight that you could use it for hosting at all. I was surprised it was a thing after years of sites banning hotlinking. Also, the images aren't being removed from servers, just the ability to long term hotlink.

But as a warning: a lot of dom badges use discord. If you want to keep them, save them and mirror them somewhere else. I did it for my badge collection.

They should reduce the price of nitro if they're not gonna allow hotlinking, tbh.

Discord is one of the last places you could privately post large images, NSFW images, files, etc, without worrying about it being deleted or being banned for it (IE- imgur no longer allowing NSFW content, dropbox and google deleting old/inactive images)

Yeah that's my reason for the heads up; I know a lot of folks use discord for images in dragon bios, dom badges, etc.
