An important update:

Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.

This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.

(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)

Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.

(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

yea the amount of people in g1 hell just casually saying "well even if it was block evading, who cares?" and "well does block evading REALLY matter with dragons?" was concerning enough that i couldn't not say anything.

i wouldn't necessarily say that they were mad at me, but i was surprised that no one was else was like umm hey guys that's pretty weird to say. i think they were possibly misunderstanding that i wasn't saying that weevil 100% harassed anyone, but that block evading to FR = harassment and it is a rule for a reason and it applies even when you don't like the other person lol and that just because YOU think no one was harmed doesn't mean the targeted person feels the same way

i do not like alyxsandre even a tiny bit, but i really don't like that people seemed to have an attitude of "well we don't like that person in here so clearly weevil and co couldn't have possibly done anything wrong". if she gets banned from this though :) would not be sad

but no harm no foul, everyone was being pretty normal even though i was the only one going against the grain 👍

G1 hell has some people in it who really have a "rules for thee but not for me" mentality, and when they like someone who gets caught breaking the TOS, you'd be amazed at what lengths they go to project blame onto others or another entity rather than take responsibility, and realize that everyone needs to abide by the TOS when they sign up.

So I don't see anything wrong with your comment, especially since you were an outsider who didn't know Weevil's situation beyond secondhand information. It was just a common sense statement about how the site works and not directed at weevil it seems.

We're both in the same boat. I only lurk in that server and only saw the way people jumped on your message when I backread. You're more charitable with your interpretation of how they saw your message than I am, they're very cliquey in there and anything going against what the usual group are saying gets mocked by them elsewhere lmao.

I'm of a similar view on Alyxsandre. If what one of the users was saying is true and they've got dirt on Alyx that could get them banned as well it'd be the funniest FR drama piece of the year to me. And probably helpful for Alyx, too, because whatever gambling addiction-attention seeking combo that drives them to spent all that money on scatters for already-amazing dragons cannot be sustainable.
