An important update:

Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.

This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.

(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)

Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.

(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

If you have to ask, it's probably a better idea to just stay out of it, period. You may not think it's an asshole move to give advice as long as you don't look like you intend to take advantage of another user, but other users may not take kindly to unsolicited advice, even if they don't show it. Especially if the advice is directed to a specific user who didn't ask for it than a general thing that gets brought up during a regular conversation about dragon pricing.

There's nothing that sends a stronger message than them not getting a sale for a long time after all, why drag yourself into unnecessary shit?

As for other people coming in with advice and offer to buy the dragon - it really depends on how they do it. If they're backing it up with public sale(s) of similar dragon(s) between unrelated parties then I'd consider it a valid negotiating tactic. If they just came off like they're making up numbers out of thin air then yeah, it looks scummy as hell. Tbh you'd look like a busybody swooping in with your two cents either way so I'd avoid it lol.

its been 4 years since i got dunked on for suggesting we should able to melt down multiple items at once and i still dont understand why people was so against it lmfao. youre afraid the value of melts going down? ok make the limit the number of the items you can transmute small then and/or make the melt time longer than what it will take normally.

Been doing villager hunting for HOURS, spent nearly 150 NMT, and I STILL haven't found the villager I want- but istfg if I see Quillson or Tipper one. More. Time. I will hunt them down and burn their village to the ground.

in late 2020, i think i spent like 200+ NMT trying to get raymond without trading with other people. then i was taught the campsite trick (the method for after you had gotten your smug villager as the guaranteed first camper) and got him in an afternoon.

Thank you for the well though out write up. You helped me and a friend. Lot to think about. He was going to go for one of the AH g1s, but knowing it's a patience game and there may be other options helped.

As for the extra sprites, they never really were got as an investment. Just grabbed extra. I was a July year one account, so I got them at release. They were just fun things I had.

And while I might get out the popcorn for an earth 5 digit, my pair of 1s range 6 digit earth g1s are good enough.
