An important update:

Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.

This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.

(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)

Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.

(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

Oh, absolutely! My partner's school (they're a teacher) gave them a mug that had "Monster in the (spread)Sheets" on it because they're such an asset with their skills and they LOVED it- they don't often get recognition for doing what they do.

I will do a custom spreadsheet for myself when it’s for my own goals and enjoy it. If it’s for dom, I may still do it for free, but it’s just as much a donation to the vault as treasure and gems!

From my personal experience, including this fest, yes. Usually around 30-35 gems a piece.

As a former dom lead I wish I could give this a gold star.

I will also add, please don't hesitate to talk to the dom leaders in your flight if you want to volunteer for something or if you think up something fun you want to run! Dom leads love it when someone wants to join in on a program or has an idea for the flight.

i agree some of you people are literally so cruel for absolutely no reason. the people you're talking about are real people and just because you don't like their skins or anything doesn't mean you have to be so needlessly mean like...yeah it's a drama comm but when they haven't actually DONE anything horrible like alucardpuppy there's no point in continuing to rag on them like. we get it. you hate that they keep winning. submit your own skins against theirs then and stop whinging like children.

i think that's also a great way to do that and probably the most ideal way for a vast majority of users, but personally while i'm very good at team-based communication and thoroughly encourage it, socializing is insanely taxing on my mental health and the less interaction i have with others the better. because of this, lists like the one that was shared is immensely valuable information, as it allows me to make up for my lack of socializing by doing the thing i do best: personal, detail-heavy research.

it fits specific niches of users who play solo and might not want to converse with others, those who prefer to do deep investigation before acting, or even players who come from other games with similar systems who want to dive headfirst into dom. it gives a structured idea of concepts that might be important to you and what to look out for, but enough room for you to do your own thinking and come to your own conclusion.

I don’t know how well older fest chests sell, but the ones I’ve seen go for 35-100 g when I last looked. You might just be better off opening them and then selling the resulting skins.

agreed -- particularly if the intent is to get started in dom without proceeding into an organizational capacity. my comments apply more to anyone considering becoming an organizer, themselves. i ran a few popular in-flight programs without interaction or support from my flight's team for about a year before getting a surprise invite lol.

They do, but not for much more than the cost of the skin, and as soon as the fest is over selling them becomes hard unless there's on specific particularly desirable one.

They're not entitled or karen like at all, though? They're just listing traits of successful Dom programs, because it *is* hard to evaluate without having seen how other flights run things and therefore super easy to say "oh well we're really organized etc!" when... there's no actual yardstick for comparison!

I'm curious. When people say they want coli to be made more fun, what changes would they like to see?
