An important update:

Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.

This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.

(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)

Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.

(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

Uh, there is nothing scheduled between Shadow and ice.

Shadow vs Ice was a while ago - I believe 2021. It was a flipless battle, I think. People were surprised since Shadow’s one of the biggest, Ice is quite a bit smaller, and while Ice is quieter these days their dom team is able to put up a pretty ferocious fight when they want to while Shadow rarely places.

Unfortunately, they gave all the mediocre dragons to be held by the boarders whilst holding onto all the XXY XYX etc

I would feel quite bad if I exalted them and really don't want to deal with the fallout.
I also don't want to rock the boat nor cause issues, I was genuinely trying to help and now I feel stupid for doing so.

Thank you for the offers to help me, I don't want to come off as rude by declining it. I'm just happy that a few people care and have offered some great advice.

Battle in question happened 2 years ago. Ice won uncontested (no flips), and they had more OOF support as well I believe (could be wrong about this).

saw a dragon on the AH and got curious and checked the sellers g1 thread, and oh my god they got SO offended about someone making an offer to them for a dragon, based on a previous sale of a dragon with the same colors

speak for yourself, i work night shift at a 24hr gas station and part of my job is bagging all the donuts when the night shipment comes in. i stand there for 30 minutes bagging the fuckers and smelling them that long usually makes me cave and eat one because they smell so goddamn good

ive been trying to eat less sugar lately (ive lost 30 pounds in 3 mnonths!!!!) so i dont as often but man. they smell good.

Well, there's still likely pretties in the lot you have that will end up not selling, as a lot of folks,won't deal with the idiot.

I'll be honest, g1 market is pretty varied, but that is very patronizing. However, dude coming back and buying it at 2100g after offering 500g kind of makes me think the other dragon was lowballed and he knew it.

Getting mad/salty that light is prepping for a dom battle 6 weeks in advance is crazy. Next arcane will be begging for a 2 day head start in exalting. Im in water/have been in arcane and have been around the dom scene a fair amount, crazy to imply that light is being scummy for... not telling their competetor their battle plans?

Maybe you can think of it as a gift from that creature instead of Literally That Creature, the same way putting a familiar into Baldwin's brew really just means adding a feather or some fur.
It's your own dragons doing the gathering, right? So you can adjust your perception of the items based on how you decide your dragons would act. Then it's not a bee they are eating, just some pollen she carried.

I looked for the post bc I'm nosy and I'm gonna be honest, it would be one thing if they quoted a prior transaction between 2 unrelated individuals but it seems like they're offering based on what they themselves have managed to buy a similar color combo for.

I think I would've been very suspicious of that offer as well. Just because someone managed to lowball something out of a possibly uninformed person doesn't mean that thing is actually valued at that price in the wider market.

They could've left out the weird supermarket analogy though lmao.

Assuming this is about AoiNoRyuu, the chaotic in me kinda want to see those boarders banding together, giving her an ultimatum and exalting/dropping the dragons at below fodder floor at a certain date. The fallout will be nasty and annoying to deal with so it probably wouldn't happen but damn I'd like to see sweet justice for the people she's been taking advantage of...
