It's interesting because I've heard of someone submitting a screen from a RMT site to the staff and getting someone banned for it, without any onsite proof. They were trying to sell their whole account or something. They do take screens from discords and RMT sites seriously when shit's flying around for USD.
Why WJ seems to be above the law after all these years and all of their scandals is beyond me. He and Shrine essentially scammed the userbase out of hundreds of thousands of gems for that fake raffle they conducted, and they shouldn't have seen the light of day after that.
Just because there was no visible evidence doesn't mean there was no evidence on site.
When there is pictures matching the user's inventory that can be compared to site and they give too many details, it's not unreasonable to act on the evidence.
