I'm also a nosy shit and found an earlier snapshot of their clan profile on waybackmachine: https://web.archive.org/web/20230817051025/https://www1.flightrising.com/clan-profile/678844
Also found them being rather rude to someone offering sandsurges on their find a dragon thread before they put out a huge edit on their opening post about them: https://web.archive.org/web/20230817193429/https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drw/3265029/4 https://web.archive.org/web/20230817193840/https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drw/3265029/1
"100 gems is one human dolar and im Not paying multiple of those for a single collection of pixels."
While I can understand not wanting to pay 900 gems for a single dragon (I prefer to spend my money on other things), that is 9 dollars.
So, they won't pay 9 dollars for a poster of something they find cute? They won't pay 9 dollars for a print of a famous artwork? They wouldn't pay 9 dollars to have someone create for them a 'collection of pixels' AKA artwork?
Again, it isn't about them not wanting to spend 900 gems on a dragon, but rather how they go about declining it.
Omg yes. The bit about “I will edit any lore on dragons that come into my lair….please PM me if you make any changes to lore I wrote”. You don’t get it both ways!
As a writer myself, I was more than a little offended to see this person "non-ironically offering [their] services as editor if you want your dragon lore to read like a published novel." Like they were George R.R. Martin or somebody. This brings up the question, "Who the hell do you think you are?" but I'm not asking because I don't think I want to know!
Out of curiosity, I went through GhostCollective's entire lair, looking for lore to read, to check their credentials, as it were...and guess what? None of their dragons has any! (Well, except for one former traveling dragon with the standard adventure log, to which GC added their bit; it was okay, but nothing to write home about.) (pun very much intended, btw)
Long story short: if I ever need editing help with my dragon lore, I'll find someone more qualified. That's all. Bye!
