in all honesty, I like math, and I kinda have to for the skills I utilize, BUT percentages aren't too hard!

when I was younger, I learned to put it into the context of "x times out of y", then divide x by y.

so for example, "9 times out of 10" becomes 9 ÷ 10 which is .90 or 90% of the time.
