I like to think whenever we're discussing a potential multi-acc player and they get banned a week later that it was due to us. TrissyCat was a recent one.

this definitely happens both here and on SMR. someone being discussed leads to mass reports which lead to more attention from the FR mods and often bans that would've been evaded if the person had otherwise kept a low profile

I see multis around but I don't post about it here for this reason, don't care to see get people banned over it.
(Unless the person has already been banned and is trying to lie about the circumstances of their ban, that I will drop screenshots for.)

I remember when XXXX's previous account, Klee, got banned, they claimed that staff had banned that account under the suspicion of RMT since someone had asked them in PMs if they wanted to trade gems (or items?) for RLC, which XXXX said no to, and did an offsite trade with them instead, but staff still banned them since that looked really suspicious. According to them, staff didn't believe them because the images they sent to prove it was an offsite trade could have been photoshopped or something. They've since deleted this explanation, since you're not allowed to talk about that type of thing on site, but...

It's a very weird story, and I don't know whether I believe it or not, so maybe they got banned for a similar reason again.

Former member* of that website absolutely laughing at the idiocy of using an on-site name on CK. They tell you when signing up to NOT do this.

Considering most large gem exchanges seem to get banned after a while, my bet is RMT.

I reported Carnivore for botting. He pissed me off a lot because I often had to come in competition with him in the AH.

But for XXXX, I think I reported for suspicions of BMT iirc? I don't remember exactly what made me so sus to report them though

Botting. I remember that time. They would constantly undercut anyone by one treasure within a short span of time when selling genes at all hours of the day or night.

I tried to get PE and co's new accounts nuked for multi-ing, before I was informed that they really were four separate people (who had previously all been multi-ing and were banned at the same time)

So the accounts are still unlocked until they break tos and get caught again

Just wait. There will be another update that will make them beg for gems, they'll move those funds around and this time (hopefully) staff will be watching.

I can't disclose who since I don't want to be harassed but I've gotten several users banned. As long as you present onsite evidence then staff is more than likely to take action.

but yes it worked, and theyre on a new account and hate the fuck out of me

and yeah they deserved it. they were doing RMT and i gave the admins evidence. mustve been good enough
