Hi, DID system here. I know this is an anonymous site and all but you just gotta trust me on this lol.
Not sure if you saw/participated in the thread that basically said “i don’t have DID but you shouldn’t make aberrations have DID!!!!” as it got taken down later. (I haven’t seen the thread, I just heard about it after the fact.) But I want to expand on that.
I do not care. I’m just going to let people do what they want with their lore. Hell, even I’m going to make some DID dragons probably, because I want to! If someone else wants to do it just let them.
Even if someone ends up using the “evil alter” trope I’ll just let it slide because I genuinely do not care about a single person’s dragon petsite lore. It’s a world of difference between a dragon’s bio, and a blockbuster movie that portray people with DID like that.
The thread apparently had a lot of people *without* DID say people never should make aberrations with it. And… that feels incredibly wrong. You don’t get to decide for us. The people *with* DID/OSDD even said they didn’t care. Please don’t speak over us.
tl;dr we don’t care. Go make your DID/OSDD dragons. Be free
