when i was in high school, i witnessed abuse from teachers and abuse towards teachers. i had a teacher quit one month into my freshman school year firsthand; while he walked out of the room, he threw a piece of chalk back in and we read on the board "the pleasure was all yours." i saw kids rip a substitute's prosthetic hand off of his wrist and throw it around the room. i had an english substitute teacher - mind you, we had **many** throughout that year, as not a single one could last through our real teacher's maternity leave - who allowed *strip grammar* in her classroom because she couldn't control us and didn't give a fuck anymore (she got fired). i had a math teacher who was super sweet and helpful year one and then next year turn super strict because his students took advantage of him left and right and put him through the emotional wringer to the point he broke down crying in class.
teachers deserve immensely more than they get. if working conditions were better for them, the worst of it could probably be mitigated. they have to bring work home, they have to play babysitter and referee for kids that aren't even theirs, get paid practically nothing with very few benefits unless they manage to adhere to the education system's standards for many years in a row; they're essential, but they don't get treated like it.

Well, I definitely didn't pirate any games because that's illegal and wrong.
But I can download a... Thing (not trying to be mysterious, just can't remember the name).... to rearrange the inputs on specific games; for example there's an Ocarina of Time mod that lets you use the L and R buttons instead of the touch screen, and adjust things for accessibility. Other than that, I'm still learning tbh; I haven't gotten very far yet, admittedly. I do have the option to 'rip' the games I own onto the DS so that I don't have to put the cartridge in every time, so that's nice!

Yeah no more gore, not even scratch marks or battle wounds. At least we still have scars. But I don't mind, I was never a fan of the gore skins or candy gore.
You and the rest of the people in this thread who are apparently incapable of literacy is why the world is going down the shitter. The thread was never about getting leeway in the rules, it was about clarifying unspoken rules.

The general "they" in your post (if you were OP) made it sound like the whole group was throwing a bitchfit to get the rules changed, which is untrue. My apologies if you were referring to a small minority of the community, because your post wasn't specific at all.
This. I actually had a skin less than 12 hours away from getting approved- after being told from a FIRST submission it was alright, just change some tiny things- but now it's denied completely.

Oh, there were definitely people who wanted leeway. Sure that wasn't everybody, but there were definitely supporters of the thread who wanted it to result in more leeway.

Idk how much this counts as wank but I noticed the G1s I was selling ended up in NormalKitty/SimpIcity's lair a weird amount of times and after I went to check both accounts it's pretty obvious they're multi-ing. NormalKitty has a message in their bio saying that "SimplyNashie" (SimpIcity) uses their devices and is also their only friend. SimpIcity is their main but like...yeah, just wanted to put a caution out there about buying from NormalKitty! Idk what y'all think about it but I think it's kind of douchey to buy up cheap G1s from a side account and then resell them on your main for like 4x the price
