Some people did actually want the rules loosened up. I've seen people say as much. You didn't. Others did. One of the deleted threads of the forums a few were whining that they hoped the site would enforce the rules as were written before, not add new rules.
The general "they" in your post (if you were OP) made it sound like the whole group was throwing a bitchfit to get the rules changed, which is untrue. My apologies if you were referring to a small minority of the community, because your post wasn't specific at all.
This. I actually had a skin less than 12 hours away from getting approved- after being told from a FIRST submission it was alright, just change some tiny things- but now it's denied completely.
I wanted more S/A staff to help with the backlog, and more clear rules, but now there's more rules.
